Class 2 visit to Cheltenham Synagogue
On Monday, 28th January, Class 2 visited Cheltenham Synagogue, where the children were given a very informative talk about Judaism by Mrs Silverston, chairman of the Cheltenham Hebrew Congregation.
During the visit, the children were able to see and handle various objects relating to Judaism and worship and also viewed Torah scrolls, which were scribed solely by hand. This trip certainly brought our learning to life and we would like to thank Mrs Silverston for letting us attend the Synagogue.
