Term6 week 4 22nd June

Our topic is 'Stories People Tell'

Hello everyone and welcome to week 4.

Your story book this week is one of my favourites, and an absolute classic by Roald Dahl. It is called 'The Enormous Crocodile' and I am sure that lots of you have read it before.  Instead of me reading it to you though, because we are zooming twice this week, I thought I would find a different narrator (and a few more pictures to go with it).

Your English activities and spellings are all linked to the Enormous Crocodile, and Maths this week is the final week of shapes (regular / irregular and angles/missing angles) before we go onto investigation and project work for the final few weeks of term. Your afternoon activities will also keep you busy, including the outdoor learning Green Man task.

Please remember I need to hear from you at least once a week, and do include photographs to keep our gallery pages up to date- and let your friends see what you've been up to.

I hope you have all had a chance to complete your weekly challenge

to fix/mend/repair/make good something in your home/garden! Please send me some information and pictures to go on the 'weekly challenge' icon on your class page.

It is meant to be hot this week- so if you are out and about in the garden or walks- remember to slip (on a long sleeved top) slap (on the sunblock) and slop (on a sunhat!).

As always, for feedback on work, photos to upload and other queries or questions, please email me at C4@longborough.gloucs.sch.uk.

Take care.
