World Book Day 7th March
On World Book Day, we enjoyed a variety of activities. We began the day with a candle lit story session about a naughty dog called Bonnie. The children thereafter were treated to a fruit snack and breakfast.
A bit later in the morning, Borzoi Bookshop came along to deliver our World Book Day books and after break, we all enjoyed watching a live festival which featured World Book Day authors.
During the afternoon, we held a parade and the children were given the opporunity to talk about their favourite author and book, describing more importantly who they were dressed up as. Fabulous customes were on display! It was really a great day, thoroughly enjoyed by all of us - including the naughty dog Bonnie (who really was well behaved)!
