The Executive Headteacher, Miss Alexandra Symondson

 

                                                      

 

Miss Symondson is The Executive Headteacher for the five schools within The North Cotswold Schools Federation. Prior to this, Miss Symondson was Headteacher at Cold Aston CofE Primary School for seven years. Miss Symondson has been a highly successful headteacher achieving results in the top 1% nationally, achieving an Outstanding Ofsted grade under the new stringent Ofsted regime and has written for The Parliamentary Portfolio on Achieving Excellence in Schools. Miss Symondson is also one of the representatives for The North Cotswold Cluster of Primary Headteachers at the Gloucestershire Association of Primary Headteachers. Miss Symondson has also obtained the National Professional Qualification for Headship, the National Award for Special Education Needs and a diploma in Leadership and Management. Outside of school Miss Symondson's favourite hobby is rowing. This and the training it encompasses takes up most of her free time but you may find her tinkering on the piano, guitar or cello!

 

Executive Deputy Headteacher and SENCO: Mrs Anna Mason

 

 

 

Mrs Mason is our experienced Deputy Headteacher. She works across all of our federation schools. Mrs Mason is also our SENCO. 

 

Head of School and Class 1 teacher: Mrs Alison Rawlings

 

 

 

Mrs Rawlings is our Head of School and Class 1 teacher. She is part of the History and Geography curriculum team and is responsible for leading these subjects across the federation. 

 

                                                  

Class 2 teacher: Miss Katrin Lager

                                                                  

                                                           

                                                                                                           

Miss Lager is our Class 2 teacher; responsible for Years 3 and 4 every morning and both KS2 and KS1 teaching in the afternoons. Miss Lager is part of the PSHCE/GHLL team and is responsible for leading this curriculum area across the federation.

 

 

                                                 

 Class 3 teacher: Mrs Leena Coleman

 

                                                   

 

Mrs Leena Coleman is our Class 3 teacher. She is responsible for the year 5 and 6 children every morning and in the afternoon Mrs Coleman teaches the years 3-6 children. Mrs Coleman is a member of the English curriculum team and is responsible for the teaching of Reading across our federation.

School Administrator: Mrs Judy Morgan

 

                                                 

 

Mrs Morgan is our school administrator. She plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of daily school life. Mrs Morgan has worked at the school for over twenty years and her daughter is a past Swell pupil!

 

Pastoral Leader: Mrs Emma Clark

 

 

                                                      

 Mrs Clark is our new Pastoral Leader. She works across our five federation schools and provides support for pupils and teachers.                      

 

Lunchtime Supervisors

 

 

Mrs Cassie Barlow

 

Mrs Barlow is our KS1 lunchtime supervisor and our Munchkins leader. She is a popular member of our team and can often be found playing hide and seek or football during her lunchtime duties. 

 

 

 

 Mrs Becky Gorton

 

 

Mrs Gorton is a teaching assistant at Longborough and comes to Swell every lunchtime to undertake the lunchtime supervisor role.
