I am writing to advise you of the procedure we shall follow in the event of snow this winter:
Heavy overnight snow:
Information will be on our website www.northcotswoldschools.co.uk in the scrolling banner at the bottom of the home page. The closure will also be listed on the county website: www.glosclosedschools.com
Information on school closures is broadcast by SevernSound (FM102.4 and AM 774) and by Radio Gloucester (FM104.7 and AM1413).
If you would prefer to be contacted by telephone about a school closure, please let the school office know and a member of staff will contact you should the need arise.
Snow during the school day:
If it is necessary to close the school during a normal school day, we shall contact all emergency contact numbers individually. Please therefore ensure that we are advised of any changes to those numbers. Should you feel that local conditions have deteriorated, and would like to collect your child earlier, please contact the school to arrange this.
